Second verse is a kinetic sound installation based on the acoustics of ceramics. This installation is focused on becoming part of an environment and becoming a “presence” in this environment. The installation consists of stoneware shapes of various sizes. Each shape has a dc motor which is connected to a pin with a piece of wood that rests on the edge of the shape. Each motor, and so each shape, is individually programmed in slowing down, accelerating, ending and beginning.
